A single origin bean from the Monte Sion estate in El Salvador and SHG (Strictly High Grown at higher than 1,200m above sea level) for a bright, complex cup!
It’s a washed process coffee, where the bean is separated from its cherry, ensuring what you taste is crisp, clean, complex yet un-compromised.
We roast it medium-light here in the southern alps of New Zealand, and highly recommend it for your smooth, mellow and caramel-like espresso / hard brew; or crisp, bright and fruity filter / soft brew.
Notes of caramel, nougat, dried apricot and peach.
